Three Core Exercises From Brooke Ence (And Her Favorite Exercises)
If your goal is to build a lean and strong core so that you can feel good and move better, there are important distinctions to understand before you start training.
While many online articles focus on “ab training” or “get six-pack abs”, the catchphrases, true core training are different. A strong core will allow you to be injury-free, improve the strength of your biggest movements, and look badass.

Movement #1 Toes To Bar
Admittedly these are difficult for me to perform and not the most encouraging movements for newer athletes. Toes to bar or “T2B” is performed exactly as it sounds. Hanging from a pull-up bar or gymnastic rings, the athlete bends at the knees and waist and brings their toes to the bar.
Think of it as a hanging leg raise done more explosively.
Of course, if you can’t perform the movement or don’t have access to a bar then you can substitute v-ups or dragon flag leg…
